Dance Resources
Bobby MgGhee (North ayrshire Active Schools Manager) is currently working with Demetrious Paparacus from KA leisure to develop a Primary Dance CPD program and resource pack for you. I will keep you informed of this development.
Education Scotland is currently in the process of seconding someone to develop a Scottish Dance Resource for Primary and Secondary Teachers. Again I will keep you in the loop.
Meanwhile....... back at the ranch........
I have developed some dance resources over the past few years with curriculum for excellence in mind. I wasn’t paid to do them, was given no extra time or budget to develop them (please bare this is mind when you scrutinize ;0). I have uploaded them here for you to browse, adapt and change as you see fit. I hope they help until better resources are available. Click the link buttons below to access.

Dalry Dance Display and Competition: This event is run by the North Ayrshire Active Schools team and will happen in June 2013 based at Dalry Primary School. The June event is competitive in nature with a finalist team/individual winning the Dalry Dance trophy. For those pupils who do not wish to be judged there is an event every December which acts as a showcase/display where dancers come along and just perform. Both are excellent incentives for any clubs or groups that are run in your school giving pupils a chance to show off their hard work and talent.
